Restored woodgrain panels
Here are a matching set of woodgrain panels. Includes a cheyenne super glovebox door insert (but not the actual glovebox door) that's been polished and restored with new woodgrain, a matching new chrome and woodgrain 69-72 style 7 hole gauge bezel, and 72 specific door panels with polished outer trim rings. The nice thing is that all the woodgrain matches. It is not the same as the original interior woodgrain, but a show quality matching woodgrain set.
Selling as a set. 550 shipped in CONUS firm. Includes a 71 or 72 specific glovebox door emblem or sierra grande Check, money order, or paypal (if you pay via personal funds or pay the fees)

Re: Restored woodgrain panels
they are a 3m dynalock like the factory used on the lower woodgrain moldings...on the interior the factory actually used water printing on the glovebox door and door panels and a thicker piece on the bezel.

Re: Restored woodgrain panels
lowered price to 600 shipped FIRM. These started as a perfect set of ding/dent free originals, redone with new woodgrain 3m dynaloc, outer ring has been polished to show quality. Glovebox insert piece has polished outer ring with new woodgrain and matching chrome and woodgrain bezel....
Show quality stuff here!!!

Re: Restored woodgrain panels
the back pins on the door inserts are they in good shape and not broke? I have a set of original panel doors, but my back pins are rusty looking and I am afraid they may break when I try to remove it.

Re: Restored woodgrain panels
Jonathan, just to clarify for me, are you selling everything in the pics except the actual bronze glovebox door itself (i.e. the alum insert and woodgrain is being sold ready to install on another door - no disassembly required?)
If I understand that correctly, I will take it shipped for $550 (with the Cheyenne Super emblem, not Sierra Grande). |

Re: Restored woodgrain panels
Get me another set rdy! Johnathon, what do you guys actually use to mount the glove box stuff to door? I have an original door and popped the emblem and metal from wood grain off last night. I see holes, but they do not go all the way through.

Re: Restored woodgrain panels
No, he's using originals still for the door panels. It's just that he's only charging 50 for the core charge....I get 100+ for my nicest woodgrain panels. And now, he charges 95 for a new stamped glovebox door piece WITH the woodgrain on it....but still charges 95 if I supply an original (that's worth around 75 by itself) so it makes no sense to supply an original any more...the repro he makes of those is spot on.
