Is this the correct color for what year, years?

yellow bowtie is correct for 73-up. blue bowtie is correct for 69-72. you can paint and nobody would know the difference. iirc they even have the same part number

Yes, as Scott said. In fact, I have only seen one NOS Blue emblem. Bidding went high on it...much smarter to just get a yellow NOS emblem and paint it.
