Thumbs up 1st place@SuperChevy-Houston

This is a '68 step side that I had just started about this time last year. I built this truck to sale. I had a guy doing the paint and body work for 2,000.00 and was only going to take him 2 months. 10 months later I had to go pick the truck up in parts and very unfinished. I finished the truck in 2.5 months. A very good friend of mine is an excellent painter. I decided to get him to paint the truck because I knew I could trust him. It cost me twice as much but ended up being worth it. I did all the work except for the exterior paint and body. I am still doing some finishing touches on the truck and will be ready soon. I have decided to put in a vintage air conditioning system. The truck will be in the 13,000.00 price range. I went to the Super Chevy Show last week-end and a friend of mine talked me into putting it in the truck show. I ended up winning 1st place in the street class (1947-1972) and very pleased. I had some very interested people saturday. Unfortunately sunday rained out but it was a lot of fun and I am glad my wife and I went. Now I am excited about starting my 1972 cheyenne swb to keep and enjoy.

here are a couple of pictures I took last week end with my digital video recorder, they didn't turn out good. other ones are from my garage while finishing the truck, these pictures are what the truck looked like Sept. 5th.

STP67-72, here is a link for a free download program that will allow you to resize your pics very easily, as well as other related things. It is a good program, and you can't beat the price, free!
