6 lug to 5 lug conversion help
Bought a really clean 67 CST truck with 6 lug wheels and would like to convert the truck to 5 lug. I have the front disc's covered but need to know if say 1971 or 72 rear 5 lug axles would replace the 6 lug axles I have or do I have to replace the whole rear end? any input or help would be great. thanks Rick

Re: 6 lug to 5 lug conversion help
71-up axles are 3/4" longer than your '67s. Best choices are buy new axles or swap the entire assembly from a 5-lug truck...
