Saw something unusual at slavage yard - jack delete?
Saw a 71 C10 LWB at the salvage yard with what for all the world looked like an OEM plug in the pass side door jam in the hole for the screw that would affix the spring for the jack tools. No spring was there. I grabbed the plug. Haven't seen anything similar before. From what was left it looked like an unmolested truck in original paint. Curious if anyone has seen this before...

Re: Saw something unusual at slavage yard - jack delete?
It was a fleet delete option and I remember seeing some military SPIDs listing it. Also production trucks with RPO R05 deleted the jack as well.

Thanks! The glovebox was gone already. Interesting to know.
