Questions
does any one know if the production numbers started back at 0 every year cause my 88 the last six is 133'692 so would the be the 133'692nd blazer in 1988?

Chevrolet started at 100001 and GMC at 500001.
VINs counted up sequentially but were not distinguished by Blazer or Suburban. Your truck would have been the 133692nd Chevrolet produced on "Line 2" at Flint Assembly during the 1988 model year. Total production would have been higher than that, as the line would have been interspersed with GMCs as well (approx one out of every 7 or so). The line produced two Suburbans in a row followed by one Blazer; "Line 1" was wholely separate and distinct and produced pickup trucks only. K
