you should be just fine. did a '69 with a 7" rear drop, 15" wheels with no issues.
how low are you already?

Quote:
1.5" blocks max w/15" wheels. Even then, you need to ensure the u-bolt tips are trimmed so they are basically flush w/the retaining nuts. If the tire goes flat, there is still enough rubber there to keep the u-bolt nuts from digging into the road surface unless the tire comes completely off the rim.

No one said it can't be done. Its just not safe in the event of a blow out.

Yes, but 1 5/8 is generally the shortest people go on the cups before rubbing issues arise. Cupping/plating is also an option

Re: 1969.C10 c-notch and 2inch blocks..15s ok?
He is referring to cupping the lower A-arms and plating them for strength. This will get you lower ride height and allow you to raise your bag pressure.

Re: 1969.C10 c-notch and 2inch blocks..15s ok?
Get a piece of 3/16 plate. Trim to fit/weld to the bottom of the arm. Get a piece of 8" pipe. Weld in place of the coil spring pocket. Drill a hole on center to mount the bag. Search the forums for pics- quite a few members have done it...
