1973 1974 Woodgrain dash bezel
I was wanting to try and clean this up a little. I believe it is a 73/74 only woodgrain dash bezel. Any suggestions on making the woodgrain part a little brighter? Also, the chrome part of the gauge openings is dull and foggy. Is there a way to clean and polish that without destroying it? This dash bezel has a small chrome strip that runs around the outside border of the top and sides. Was this unique to 73/74. Thanks, in advance for any help.

Re: 1973 1974 Woodgrain dash bezel
James, I think the later (to 77) trucks with the woodgrain bezel had the chrome strip also. It is just usually missing.
It's really too bad no one repops any of the 73-4 instrument panel bezels. The wiper switch is in just the wrong place to use the 75-77 ones.

Re: 1973 1974 Woodgrain dash bezel
Anybody have any thoughts on fixing up the chrome strip? The bezel in my '73 looks almost exactly like the one in the pic, I'm hoping I can save it.
