86 step side drivetrain upgrade ?
I was given a 94 2wd 5.7 4l60e truck for free and will be swaping the engine and transmission into my 86 2wd step side witch has a 4.3 and sm465. I gonna be getting a stand alone wiring harness to run the 94 drivetrain into the stepside from howell efi. My question is will the stepsides driveshaft work with no modifications other than moving the crossmember? Are there any other problems that you guys can for see with this swap?

My guess would be no on the driveshaft, but if you could find a 700r4 shortbed driveshaft from another 80s truck it should fit.
