Shoulder Harness kit? 66C10

66 C10 with weld nuts installed for shoulder harness'. I've been searching for a retractable lap belt/shoulder harness installation. Saw one at a Santa Maria, CA. custom show a few weeks back so I know it exists. My bad in that I did not write down any info. Has anyone installed or located any kits? Would be greatfull for any info! And Thank you!

I installed a couple from Julianos. The kit had everything I needed.

I've seen a 4point race harness, but other than that only lap belts.

Re: Shoulder Harness kit? 66C10

Thanks guys.... T2vigil, Did your truck have OM seat belts? If so, where you able to use the original OM attach points with Julianos? I chatted with Cust Ser.@ Julianos and they could only give me info on 67 and later. I have OM lap belts and the weldnuts OM installed in the posts. Julianous looks like a nice easy install.....(If I can use OM mount points)...
True?

Re: Shoulder Harness kit? 66C10

There was a thread on adding shoulder type seatbelts to our trucks, most kits come with a bracket that has a tapped hole to take the bolt to hold the shoulder harness in place, no welding needed, you just need long arms!

If I find the thread, I will post it up for you.

actually, have a look at this one, the bracket kit is 10.95, I believe it is easy to reach up and hold the bracket in place on the passenger side, a little tricky on the driver side due to the gas tank. a friend with long skinny arms, or a coat hanger and some clever bending might also do the trick

Re: Shoulder Harness kit? 66C10

Chuck, I have a 64 and it did not have any existing holes. I utilized the measurements in an old post for the shoulder strap location. I just found a spot on the floor that would work. Passenger side was the easyist, long arms work or in my case I used long paint stick. Once you get the bolt started in the bracked all is good.

Re: Shoulder Harness kit? 66C10

Thanks all! Good info! My 66 has all the OM mount points including the shoulder harness post mount. Based on all of your pics I should be able to utilize them....
