Another one joins the gang
I picked up this '72 C20 out of Vegas,, pretty clean old truck.
402 BB, TH400,PS,PB,AC, tool/storage compartment, front stabilizer, sliding rear window. It has a speed warning speedo but the knob is missing. I haven't pulled the cluster to see what all is missing. It is not listed on the spid. It looks like the build sheet is in the back of the seat but I will have to pull the seat to retrieve it. Needs paint and some TLC but with some good luck it will end up being my daily driver. Here's the gang !! I will post more pics a little later !! |

Re: Another one joins the gang
looks like a great truck. speedwarning was an option on 67-69 trucks. nice that someone added it!

Re: Another one joins the gang
Gerfunken
Thank you very much for fixing my pics !! I have posted pics here before and had no problems,,, maybe p-bucket was goofy last nite. Thank You all for the comments !! There's work to do on it but it is the most solid of the three. The 4x4 in my avatar is out of vegas as well,, it had sat for around 12-15 years,, I'm still fixing leaks on it but I love driving it !! I had to pick the orange one up about 60 miles from where I live to save $300 on shipping and took the 4x4 and my trailer to haul it home. It worked great !! This orange one was originally white/ochra but when they did the color change they did a decent job,, you have to look to find anything other than orange. I want to end up with a mild small block and 700r4 trans,,, that's the plan any way !!! Thank you everyone for the comments !! Keep them coming !! Have a great day !! Tom |

Re: Another one joins the gang
By the way, love the truck. As a 72k20 owner, I've got to say that it's my favorite, and I'm partial to orange as well.
