Henrob/Dillon Welder/Cutter
Anyone have experience with these? It looks crazy.
http://www.cut-like-plasma.com/dillon_torch.htm I just met an older gentlemen locally, a fellow old truck enthusiast (fords) and he swears by this thing. Was trying to talk me out of dropping $1.5-$2K on new Mig/spool/plasma setup to get this. ???

Re: Henrob/Dillon Welder/Cutter
it's just a torch lol.. look up gas welding.
technology has come a long way.. it's just not practical to use that type of welding anymore.. unless you're brazing cast or something.

Re: Henrob/Dillon Welder/Cutter
I have a mig but wanted cutting and good plasma's are pricey. I read up some on the Henrob and decided to go with Smith.
The only drawbacks to the Henrob seem to be odd handle and cost. All other reviews are good. I can add a small tip for sheet metal welding on my Smith (after lots of practice) Many swear by the softer welds you can get by gas welding.
