Chrome drip-rail moulding?

Does anyone know for sure or not if chrome drip-rail trim was a factory glovebox option on 67-72 trucks. I placed a set on my truck along time ago and have never heard or seen anything about it since. I was wondering if I got suckered into that one. Any pics of a truck with it, or more important a option sticker.
Thanks for any info.

The option and drawings were listed in the 67-72 factory assembly manual but were listed as discontinued. From the drip-rail molding being in the manual, I would assume that It was a glovebox sticker type option and it is just very rare.

LMC has them too. I always considered them factory trim but I don't know? LMC also lists a chrome or polished door edge guard as being factory trim.

Thanks for the info so far. The drip trim I had was more Like stainless than chrome, I guess I used the term chrome carelessly. It looked like factory stuff, kinda like the trim on the windshield.

Zyggy72, does it say anything about when it was discontinued?

Spoof, the door edge guards are factory and I think stainless too. I see If I can find an option sticker listing them.
2nd option on the left kinda hard to see.
Has anybody ever see drip-rail trip listed here?

i don't know if it was a factory item or a dealer item but it was definitly an available option. a buddy of mine has a set on one of his trucks and it's been on there a long time-before golden state or lmc were in business.

The drip-rail set was a 5 piece set and included 4 connecting clips. From the way the factory assembly manual is layed out, it seems as though the factory "roof drip molding" option was discontinued/canceled some time in 1968. Don't quote me on this...
jerry moss... what year is your buddies truck?
