Help/suggestions on (stock) interior replacement

Its a 1968 cst. I want to replace all my interior (carpet, door panels, arm rests, dash pad, seat cover, sun visors) to stock appearance. The truck came with SPID code 04616AC green trim. I am having a hard time finding anything in this color. I have looked at several aftermarket companies and the pictures on their websites dont help any. Has anyone replaced any interior components with this color or anything close to it? If not, any suggestions for another color that is in production that will go with the exterior color. I was thinking either white or turquiose (dont want black if I can help it). Anyone have any pictures or suggestions? Thanks

Nice Truck! Love BB 68 trucks and you got AC!

I had an aqua 68 C10 before I found my C20 and I had to piece together green parts for the interior from board members to sell it. More vendors carry aqua and green parts than they used to but the color of the pieces vary a lot. Post a WTB ad on the parts board for specific stuff and you should be able to find most parts.

Also, contact board member Truckseats who can help you match original color and material: http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/member.php?u=103463

Where you at in Idaho?

Oh, and I don't think any of these trucks had carpet-- I might be wrong but I think it is all aftermarket.

Re: Help/suggestions on (stock) interior replacement

You have one of the difficult interior colors (616). The truck has the CST option Z84 which included a deluxe two-tone vinyl seat cover. It is difficult to find a like replacement and is not the sort of thing LMC would carry. In the end it would might take material from a specialty supplier like SMS and a custom seat cover to bring this back to "as built". As nice as this truck looks I woud try very hard to keep it stock.
Not sure what more I can add besides a picture of a 98K mile '68 Z62 custom interior which is very similar but used cloth inserts just as hard or harder to find. Last is a data book clip which details the Z84 package contents including carpet.

SS Tim thanks for the info. Do you know what color the vinyl insert would be or where I could find more detailed info on interior for 1968 CST's.

Try SMS for samples and see what they can provide. I'll try to track down a '68 truck data book that has a trim section. No promises on a timeline, but soon.
