Hey Calif. guys...
and others. I'm looking for an older Hallowell Chevrolet license plate frame. Non Geo. Hallowell was a dealer in Clovis, Calif for many years. I had at least 3 relatives work there. I bought 2 different vehicles there. So a lot of nostalgia there for me.
I looked on e-bay and they all had Geo on them. No thanks.

Re: Hey Calif. guys...
Oh yeah, Hallowell opened in the 50s long before the Geo came out.

Are you looking for the old green ones (frames)?

This all took place after I moved away from Fresno. But I still have a cousin in law that works there. Hedricks seem like good people. I met the son, Hedrick Jr., I forget his name, in 2006 when I last visited Fresno. He knew my Uncle and of course my 2 cousins. Uncle was Alton "Slim" Balthrop. He was a salesman there for many years. When I was little Dad would take me to visit him at the original dealership on Clovis Ave in downtown. Next to the A&W.

Re: Hey Calif. guys...
King, the color doesn't matter. As long as it says Hallowell Chevrolet.
I actually don't know what color the older ones are/were. Do you have one?

Re: Hey Calif. guys...
I believe I do, let me check my Chevy frame collection and take a photo, but it might be later in the day.

Re: Hey Calif. guys...
It is 1 of them. I'm more familiar with the ones that spell out Chevrolet. It would do nicely though...
