and others. I'm looking for an older Hallowell Chevrolet license plate frame. Non Geo. Hallowell was a dealer in Clovis, Calif for many years. I had at least 3 relatives work there. I bought 2 different vehicles there. So a lot of nostalgia there for me.

I looked on e-bay and they all had Geo on them. No thanks.

Oh yeah, Hallowell opened in the 50s long before the Geo came out.

Nice try, no cigar. The Hedricks blow it. Hedricks were later partners with Hallowell and when Hallowell Jr. was ready to retire Hedricks bought them/him out. They carried the dealership for a time as Hedrick's Hallowell and then dropped the Hallowell name after so many years.

This all took place after I moved away from Fresno. But I still have a cousin in law that works there. Hedricks seem like good people. I met the son, Hedrick Jr., I forget his name, in 2006 when I last visited Fresno. He knew my Uncle and of course my 2 cousins. Uncle was Alton "Slim" Balthrop. He was a salesman there for many years. When I was little Dad would take me to visit him at the original dealership on Clovis Ave in downtown. Next to the A&W.

King, the color doesn't matter. As long as it says Hallowell Chevrolet.

It is 1 of them. I'm more familiar with the ones that spell out Chevrolet. It would do nicely though...
