Exhaust Tips Ideas...help

I am about to have exhaust done on my 71 burb 4x4, and still not sure how to have it finished at the rear. There is alot of space behind rear wheel and not sure how or what tip to finish the tubing with?? Any you guys have some suggestions?? They are welcome and appreciated. Thanks

I just left mine as plain pipe on the burb, but on the PU I put chrome turn down style tips.

I ran mine in front of the rear tire. I like how it turned out. It keeps everything tucked up so you don't worry about catching it on anything. I can put some more pictures from underneath if you want.

Re: Exhaust Tips Ideas...help

I have a couple from underneath it. I should've snapped some before I took it off of the lift but I was too anxious to hear it. I kept it outside of the frame rails. The only tricky part was the bend coming from the header to get outside the frame rail.

Bruin_d:

Your truck is absolutely SICK!!! I've read your build on several occasions, and reading about your project never gets old! I really appreciate the additional pic's. Not yet sure how low I'm going to go with my '72, but I know how the exhaust will be routed "just in case".

That is very clean work....I went ahead and had exhaust ran out the back. I think it came out very nice. Will post pics as soon as I get a chance! Thanks for sharing with the group bud!

Bruin, who did your exhaust work?
I love all the smooth un pinched bends, and clean welds all over.

RPM (Richards Performance Muffler) in Oceanside. He a friend of mine and is the best exhaust guy I've ever seen. He does 8 into 1 custom headers for sandrails the will make you drool.

I sure wish this guy was in North Carolina. If he had a template, I would imagine he could sell a few sets on here within a few minutes.
