i need to install at a windshield with trim, any tips??

any advice would be appreciated..

It can get kind of involved so the best thing to do is to type "install windshield with trim" or "install windshield trim" into the Google search box above, click on the circle in front of "67-72chevytrucks.com" and click the "Google" button. You just have to watch which forum year you are reading.

Try this link. It should help. Try to ignore the Ford stuff. I think you need to click to the right where it says "Garage Seg.". Also, the consensus on the forum seems to be Precision is the way to go for the rubber.

Woohoooo,windshield in,no cracks!!!!! However its amazing how much that old dash pad sounds like breaking glass when you lean on it,lmao!!!! We tried the new rubber with the sstrim but not enough hands between the wife and I. We reused the original gasket and it went in pretty easy
