Is that an early sixties Impala cluster laying in your floorboard...

No that was from a early Thunderbird. Seems like there has been a Thunderbird parked by it the whole time i has been there.

Brad, what did you do with the 2wd frame and running gear? I have a 2wd 70 Blazer I want to put five lug under.

Thanks, Roger

When its this low how far can you turn the wheel before the tires hit the fenders? What size wheels and tires are those? Whats the backspacing on the wheels? Do you know how much wider or narrower that frame is from the original hub to hub?

My memory really sucks lately but off the top of my head I think the track is three inches narrower. I guess the driveing thing is relative. Yea it can be a cruiser at that height but no it won't make any sharp turns. Those wheels are 20x8 with 245/40/20 tires. That particular wheel has 4.5 bs. Those worked with the stock setup but won't with the current setup. We had to change the bolt pattern with the brakes it will be running. Those are just there for mock up and required an adapter just for that. Here is a fairly recent pic.

Inspiring pics there buddy. Try to remember when you post progress pics, throw us a bone too.
I need this motivation right now too. The shop where mine was at decided since I had told them to wrap things up, they would just leave it sitting outside

I had to send a roll-back tonight to pick it up....

Hey brad2,

You have some awesome rides man, I personally think that blazer looked REALLY COOL before you started chopping it too...

What size/kind are those rims on your 74? How much were they? I'd like to get some 20s or at least 18s like that for my 73 eventually but I don't know what kind to get. I was leaning toward Torq Thrusts but the biggest I've ever seen is 17s...Let me know.

Thanks,
- Ben
