the '72 2wd frame is much different in the rear axle area than the 4x4 frames. i'd assume the '69s are different also. it is difficult to adapt spring hangars to the front end of the rear springs on the 2wd frame because it kicks out at about 5* and up at 24* right where the spring hangars need to mount.
