66 fender emblem (Custom Ideas)
I'm looking to do something different then stock fender emblems. I painted my emblems body color I don't like that. Maybe it would look better a different color combo. I'm thinking about machineing a custom billet emblem so I can add (454 or BBC) in place of the bowtie. I'm just looking for some ideas if you have some please let me know pictures would help.
Thanks for your help |

Re: 66 fender emblem (Custom Ideas)
I've been trying to come up with an idea as well. I'd like to replace the 10 with 427 but haven't quite figured out how to do the raise numbers in the emblem.

Re: 66 fender emblem (Custom Ideas)
bake-a-lite casting, relief aluminum /sand casting just some ideas without going the cnc billet big money way. Just some spitballing ideas...I do like your idea, thinking much the same way for my 66 short step. Cheers-Nate

Re: 66 fender emblem (Custom Ideas)
maybe cut the center out with a dremel tool, use some panel bonding glue to glue the emblem on, and get some of those 60's/70's 454 #'s (year one has 'em I think) and mount them inside the square..

Keep the ideas flowing.
So far I like Steve's idea. I'm going to get me a chunck of billet and see what I can rough out on the mill. |
