Fuel sending units

Need some help please. Been searching with no luck.
Will a 72' sending unit work in my 70' tank?
Thanks

Most of the 72's have the eec fuel vapor return line, also there might be a fuel line size difference.

Check the link to GMC Pauls, hope that helps.
