Dropmember radiator setup?
I was looking for some feedback on a radiator setup. I was wondering if anyone was running a factory 4 core radiator with a dropmember. The other factor is that this truck is running an ls based motor with a mechanical fan. I would like to keep the fan if possible, but not opposed to running electrical fans. IF possisble I would also like to know if you can run the factory fan shroud. I know it is a lot, just wandering if anyone has tried it. My truck is totally in pieces still and I want to start collecting the right parts. Thanks again , Daniel.

Re: Dropmember radiator setup?
Everyone I seen running an Extreme drop member scrapped the mechanical fan and went to electrics due to clearance issues.
I went with this in OLD AUX as recommended by N2Billet. He's got some good photos and ideas in his build thread. Entropy builds radiators for LS also. Below are two good links. Happy reading. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=351837 http://www.entropyrad.com/Radiators/...r/prod_14.html |

Re: Dropmember radiator setup?
Also when using a DropMember keep in mind that the motor is raised about 3 inches (not sure about the LS motors) so if you us a mech. fan it will not be centered in the radiator.
