75 Chev van rad in a 72 truck

From what I understand, the 75 chev van rad is the same as the 75 truck rad. I was also told that I could use a 73-80 truck rad in my 72 GMC. Would a 75 van rad work in my truck without too much trouble? I have a line on a brand new 4 row built for a high perf. motor in a van. It's a fair way to drive and the guy can't send me pics. thanks

Mmmm...not sure about the fit. But new V8 radiators are relatively inexpensive and cool just about anything you can throw at them. I'd hate to drive a distance, pay any amount close to a new one and be disappointed.

$100 and never used. I couldn't touch a new one up here for under $300

A 73 and up radiator is way to tall to work in a 67-72. They are about 2-3" taller.
