has anyone been to this show was thinking about going this year but is it as big as spring and fall carlisle ???

Not nearly as big as Spring and Fall, but it is all truck related. The Spring and Fall shows don't have much for trucks. Lots of vendors of both used and new parts and lots of trucks to drool over at the Truck Show. I think it is worth the trip. One long day to pretty much cover it all.

When is it? If it's after July I will be living in Alabama but I may still go.

Spring and fall Carlisle are swap meet/car corrals. Although there are mounds of truck pats to be found at those show,they are mixed in with everything else you can imagine. Carlisle Trucks is a show,just like All GM,All Ford,All Chrysler,Corvettes,Imports & Kit Cars,Bike Fest,etc. They are multiple faceted events. Trucks has a decent sized swap meet,trucks show from minis-big rigs,monster truck rides,rock crawling competition,burn out contest,wet t-shirt contest,truck hopping...you park on-site and it's just about trucks,of all sorts. There's a thread already in General Discussion since it's not a 67-72 GM Truck show.
