Re: Extended cab at a local show

Well I was going to post a question on whether Chevrolet ever produced a crew cab truck back in the day. someone's got the right idea afterall crewcabs are the most popular way to get a truck nowdays. I know that the other brand truck(we wont mention Found On Road Dead) but I have seen those in crewcabs from the 70's in fact when I lived up in Idaho there was a couple around. HUHH!! that is one nice looking ride!

Re: Extended cab at a local show

Anyone have an idea on how much it costs to have the trim painted on like that? If i was gonna spend big money like that i would have just shaved the the sidemarkers too and had them painted on. Like this truck.

You sure that's a REAL truck? Not a cardboard cut-out? LOL.

Re: Extended cab at a local show

Hi guys, wow I would have taken more photos on this if I only knew. It wasn't finished, the whole inside was still bare, engine was just sitting there, etc. I do remember the cab was at the show last year, just in primer so I'm sure he will have the finish truck next year (I hope) and I'll get better and more pics picks. The inside bed was real wood, just the trim and tailgate was painted.

I talked to the guy who did the airbrush on the blue one above, I plan on doing the same thing on mine minus the markers and emblems, it's somewhere in the neighborhood of $1500-2000, the guy is actually in Spring NuttinSpecial, so he should be right up the road from you

Yea in the artical it said his shop was in conroe? But that artical is a few years old. I think it said his shop is called "kustom werx", is it skunkwerx place? I saw some where that he had a paint n body shop?

Anyway im buildin a 68 and i havent seen a truck with the 67-68 trim painted on, that would be siiick. Price sounds cheaper than i expected. I may have to go talk to him.
