Boy, talk about fruit that's ripe for the picking... whoever is the first to reproduce and sell correct seat cover kits for our trucks (all years) is going to make bank. Seems as though the hard part is already done ? (by SMS).

how common is all tinted glass. I do have a green tinted rear window. it came out of a 66 gmc custom cab. the w/s and door glass went into a panel

Hard to say. Obviously more common it hot climates, plus I think all A/C equipped trucks automatically got the tinted glass. My non-A/C 1962 3/4 ton from the CA desert has it.

RPO A11 Tinted Glass
Soft Ray Glass optioned in the Salesmans Data Book.

I read somewhere as well, Tinted Glass with A/C trucks.
Mine came with the windshield only, to which I converted the rest. The tinted glass makes a star pattern from the sun's reflection on anything shiny. Very nice viewing to drive with.
