dropped work trucks?

Im looking to drop my truck but my only concern is how it'll hold up out back.
its a 72 optioned leaf in the rear. with an axle flip in back and a c notch, would it still be able to haul a good load?

If any gmc guys have done this lemme know! especially if any drive shaft problems have come about.

Thanks!

Re: dropped work trucks?

just add some helper bags or some monroe air shocks to the rear with whatever lowering kit you do and you will be fine.

I'd never call in sick if my work truck looked like that.

Re: dropped work trucks?

Man that's way cool. If all goes well I will be selling the truck i use now and buying a 67-72 and doing that same type of thing next summer/fall.

This is my work truck, I have alot of tools in it just about anything you would need to do a remodel job or frame a new house and it handles it fine allthough its a 2005.
It has 3" drop coils in front and 2" hangers in the rear with 150lbs in the air shocks.
