56 Chevy on 83 1 ton Frame
What are the pros and cons to putting 56 Chevy sheetmetal on a 83 1 ton frame? This is going to be a diesel engine swap so I want a strong frame.

I'm thinking the frame is too wide for the body. Most who do a frame swap in a early truck like that use a s10 frame which isn't that wide as a full size truck.
