New (to me) '99 Tahoe

I just bought a '99 Tahoe, my first venture into this new a GM. I'm told the engine is a 350; it has an auto tranny. I already have a replacement owner's manual on the way, but I have a question. How do I find out about the way this truck is equipped?

If you take the VIN to a GM dealer, they can print out a sheet with how the truck was originally optioned. Go to the parts department.

Indeed; I have found it. But how do I interpret it? There must be over 30 on there.

This is one of the sites I used:

http://www.drzero.org/GMC/GM%20RPO%20Master%20List.pdf

I just took a digital picture of the label and then came back inside and started digging in.

Good luck and congrats on the Tahoe!

Try compnine.com That will give the codes and what they are for your Tahoe.
