1986 2wd suburban flip kit question

hi guy kinda new here . well i have a new project a 2wd suburban . and i want to lower it . but not go crazy . I was wondering how low I could go with out doing a c-notch . I have a Front engine Dragster that i would like to haul with it . so I dont want to bottom out all the time ... I was thinking 2 inch spindles 1'' cut coils and a 4 inch flip or shackle and hanger deal . what do you all think . thank you so much for the help.
