Look in the parts section every day till you find one, subscribe and post a Wanted To Buy,check classified/Craigslist,and keep your eyes peeled while driving around.

Re: 67 thru 72
67- 72 there is some differences in the frames. You would be better off to look for a 70-72 the frame is set up for power steering and the front axle will have disc brakes. You should be able to find a cheap complete truck on craigs list.

Re: 67 thru 72
You may have to look out of Texas,or at least expand your search.

Re: 67 thru 72
DIY4x.com get some front spring hangers and build your own 4x4...
Any 71-91 (there are certain details on these years that need to be addressed) GM Dana 44 or Dana 60 will bolt in place in the front... depends on what your starting with and what you want to do with the truck.... |

Re: 67 thru 72
If you have a GMC 2wd frame that came with rear leaf spring you can do that.

Re: 67 thru 72
I would try to find 71/72 frame like others have said. It makes things easier and could be cheaper in the long run.

Re: 67 thru 72
Yeap I have seen a few 4x4s cheap on Craigslist list around here so you might have to make a long drive to get one, I drove like 300 miles one way to buy my 69 because I wanted one in good body shape more then i was worried about the drivetrain.
