Did any 73 through 87 stepside trucks come with plastic gas tanks from the factory ?

AFAIK they didn't. Some did have a plastic shield on the lower half though.
I hope someone will correct me if I'm wrong.

Where did you find the aftermarket one ? Ive been looking but unsuccessful thus far .My 74 daily driver needs a new tank and sending unit and Im waiting on my parts catalogs to arrive .

Plastic tank for my '73 was aftermarket __________________ '86 C-30 dually, 454/tbh400 '73 K-20 350/350/205 (sold ) I'm kinda like duct tape- no real purpose, but handy to have around.
