Re: WTB 71-72 LWB Drive shaft
That is what I am looking for. Turbo 350. IDK if a 70 will work? I guess a measurement from the rear end to the support bearing would tell.

Besides the 350/Th350 long box part, you may also want to confirm 1/2-3/4 ton leaf or coil and which carrier type you are looking for. Mel

Re: WTB 71-72 LWB Drive shaft
Sorry, it is a 1/2 ton coil truck. I bought it as a rolling chassis and it did not have a shaft.
I guess whatever shaft I find the bearing that comes with it will have to work. Posted via Mobile Device |

Re: WTB 71-72 LWB Drive shaft
Also does your support bolt one bolt on left and one on right or front to back? I have been doing some research and that seems to be the big difference. Mine bolts front to back.

If your still looking i have a 72 two piece driveshaft that was mated to a TH400 and a dana 60 rear. Let me know. I could do $40 plus the ride.

Re: WTB 71-72 LWB Drive shaft
mrdana60 sounds like it will work. Mine is 37" also. How much would you take for it, and I wonder how hard it would be to ship it? You would probably have to break it down into 2 pieces.

Re: WTB 71-72 LWB Drive shaft
No problem on the u joint. I am going to rebuild it anyway. I will take it. Figure out shipping to 78501 and let me know a total. I also bought the harness from you so you should have my shipping info. If not let me know. Thanks for all the help.
