got me another one
friend brought his 79 K20 over for me to work on about 3 weeks ago it barely ran so we parked it in my back yard tore it apart and he had something come up he couldnt spend money on it so he ask me a few days ago if i was interested. a little bit of haggling and what not i got him down to $600 on it. Not a bad deal if you ask me especially since it has a brand new edelbrock intake and carb on both less than a year old. Problem is now i think i need to pull the heads i may have a bent valve in it being as i put a new timing chain and gears on it reset the timing properly and it spits and sputters through the carb i double checked myself to make sure that i wasnt 180 and still a major issue. i am going to run a compression check on all cylinders today to see if i can narrow down my problem but i think i just need to go find me some heads and maybe go buy new pushrods hoping one of them aint bent.
