whats the biggest a/t tire you can fit on stock wheels on an 1986 chevy 4x4

my local tire shop told me i can get 33s under my truck they said the issue would fall on the width of the tire if i go to wide i might have some rubbing issues when i turn but i am putting a lift on my truck anyway so that wont be an issue then.

31x10.50's fit well.
If you use 33x12.50's they will hit the lower corners on the front fenders on sharp un-even turns.(like turning into a steep driveway or off-road turns at speed). I've used the 33x 12.50's on my 82,4x4 since new. Mike.  /

I would say 32x11.50 is about these biggest you can go without rubbing issues.
