EXCELLENT condition Tilt steering column
SOLD TO bluek5 This is an EXCELLENT condition tilt steering column removed from a motor home with less than 50,000 miles. These are the same exact length as the 67-72 trucks but the neutral safety switch is mounted higher up. All parts are in great condition. Selector lens is nice and clear with no yellowing and includes a new gear selector pointer. Use as is or repaint for show quality. Tilt is nice and tight and works as it should. Automatic lever housing is in great shape with no play where the pin mounts and there are NO dents in the tube or housing. Turn signal cancels as it should as well. I have had several variations of this column for the 67-72s and this is the nicest one. Price is $225 not including shipping.

Re: EXCELLENT condition Tilt steering column
How much to ship to 84043. It looks like the selector housing is just a little different shape than the tilt in my blazer also can the tilt lever be replaced with the correct one?
Thanks, Paul |

Re: EXCELLENT condition Tilt steering column
Early/ Correct Tilt lever can easily be purchased from LMC or others. figure $25 shipping. This will be packaged with levers removed as it is much easier to package.

Re: EXCELLENT condition Tilt steering column
A couple more questions any problem getting the seal and retainer over the shift lever on bottom of the column? I will need to remove and use my old parts. Can the neutral safety switch be re-located or will the wiring reach the new location? If these are not an issue with installing it I will take it.

Re: EXCELLENT condition Tilt steering column
To be honest with you I don't have the answers you need. I don't have a 72 so I can't check. I do have an original truck tilt that I am redoing but haven't got as far as redoing the seal so I don't really know. Sorry I couldn't help. Sending PM as well

Re: EXCELLENT condition Tilt steering column
Thanks, I have seen a couple that were done and didn't think it was any big deal to move the Neutral safety switch.
