1969 Bucket Seat questions

Saw these locally, and I am not sure what application these seats are from? The owner says a 1969 truck motorhome.

They look aesthetically correct, but what kind of floor base mount is this?

Thanks for the info.

i believe it's the blazer bracket - but not 100%T positive. The blaze seats rotate up.

Re: 1969 Bucket Seat questions

They are replacement seats typical of the type found in cut through motorhomes that were ordered without the A50 bucket seats. The dead giveaway are the staples holding the cover on the, likely plywood, base. Here are a similar set in a '69 openroad. The second picture is a factory (steel frame) set in a '71 cut through.

Definitely not a blazer setup (see below pics). SS Tim has it down correctly, the seats shown in the first post of this thread are the style of seats that a couple of the rv/motorhome companys had manufactured and used when the cab and chassis setups were delivered new from GM without bucket seats. The factory style OE GM A50 offered pu cab motorhome bucket seats are highly sought after today and command a premium when they come up for sale due to the low mile pristine condition that they are normally found in. The below pictured green set went over $1200. and the off white set over $1400. sold/auctioned on ebay, both were motorhome setups in oe/unrestored condition and these listed prices did not include the shipping cost either. Re: 1969 Bucket Seat questions

Any idea how they mount to the floor? I used to own a "cherry" blue set of those and could not figure out how they mounded, I might have to go buy them back.

Re: 1969 Bucket Seat questions

Thanks Tim and Mel - I was mistaking the hooks for a rotating base - now that I can see both side by side, clearly not a blazer setup. And I have a blazer setup in a box around here SOMEwhere.. Shame on me! Appreciate the help.

Re: 1969 Bucket Seat questions

That is why I try to share my knowledge and reference collection. Having been burned myself, there is nothing more I hate seeing is someone getting taken for huundreds of dollars happily thinking they are doing good. Especially when, like in this case, they are getting nothing more than glorified boat seats.
