Hazard warning knob wanted!

I'm looking for a hazard warning knob for a '72 Cheyenne. This is the red knob/button on the steering column for the emergency lights. I've checked with LMC and they told me they discontinued them.

Anybody have one or know where I can buy one? I need one ASAP.

Re: Hazard warning knob wanted!

If you have any shot at finding this then I would contact board member KevsClassics. He has restored his fair share and I am sure he can help you find one if they are out there.

PT---you are correct. The red knob on the right side is what I'm looking for. Thanks.

That looks like it but will it fit a 1972 Cheyenne power steering automatic?

Re: Hazard warning knob wanted!

I looked at my friend's '72, and the knob says, "HAZARD." I don't think it says FLASHER, unless 68s and 72s are different. Anyone know for sure?

I have a couple original NOS GM/Delco Remy turn signal switches available and ready to ship today if needed, I may also have a new repro M&H switch available with the red knob but wouldnt be able to check on that until Monday. The two NOS switches are both for non-tilt columns, and each comes with NOS t/s switch cams and NOS cancel springs. Both are new old stock/never been mounted/installed switches, but one has had the half round harness plug cut off, plug alone was probably needed at a dealership service center and then switch was stuck back on the shelf in the parts room maybe. Still an original unused GM switch and harness that just needs a plug/pigtail installed, altered switch would be $60. shipped USPS priority or $100. shipped on the complete ready to install switch. If interested drop me a pm with your e-mail address and I will return the invoice through paypal, can ship USPS on Sundays up until 9pm if needed. Mel

Hi Casey, the invoice has been sent through paypal and since you said asap, I got the NOS switch needing the plug/pigtail sent out USPS priority this eve-07/22 to your builder in TN., the projected delivery date listed on the USPS receipt is Wednesday 07/25. Let me know if I can help with any other column specific parts, Mel.

For anyone thinking about doing business with Classic Bowties -- BUY WITH CONFIDENCE....5*****

Thanks, Mel. It arrived at the body shop today, and it even has the same date code as the old one. Can't ask for anything better than that! Thanks a lot, Casey

Re: Hazard warning knob wanted!

Mel. Do you have a nos turn signal switch or a nice used one for my 72 4speed tilt wheel? It has the round hazard knob which is held on with a small screw. Thanks!

Hey Rob, for you I have three choices. The pictures should speak for themselves, let me know if you are interested in one of these and I will send you an invoice. Did you see the GM window crank handle pictures I added in your other thread? Mel

Option #1: Old Delco Remy (pull string box) turn signal switch for screw on hazard knob with correct half round harness plug $100. shipped.

Option #2: New AC Delco turn signal switch for screw on hazard knob with straight harness plug and jumper adapter harness. $65. shipped.

Option #3: New import/taiwan turn signal switch for screw on hazard knob with correct half round harness plug $45. shipped.
