fuel gauge
So im working on another truck and the fuel gauge isnt working shows way past full. The truck has a fuel cell and was wondering how do i test the sending unit for correct ohm readings. Also i noticed in some wiring diagrams that the fuel guage goes from pin 7 to 18 so i took a look at a few clusters i have and they deffinently do. 7 to 18 has a jumper wire between the two. pin 7 has another tan wire going out past the cluster. Now i want to just hook up a new wire on that end and run it back to the tank would that work?

Re: fuel gauge
Yeah this one has the big tach. Fuel gauge goes from 7 to pin 18
