Whats the best to use? My wife had hockey equipment in our van then sprayed my van with with some Lolac spray and its so disgusting it makes me sick. I washed van down with vinegar inside then threw backing soda on carpet but still cant get rid of odour. Please give me some suggestions and no Fabreze

Re: Deoderizer
try a rug shampoo that is for pet odor removal
or if that is too sweet what you could do is change your rearend grease and take an open container of the old stuff and let it sit in the interior overnight, no mistake you'll have mansized scent then

Re: Deoderizer
Find someone with an ozone machine, and lock it in there for a while. All smells including years of cigarette smoke will be gone.
Like this one, not necessarily from this company ( I have never bough from them) http://www.odorfreemachines.com/?c1=...FcgGRQodcEeP2w Or leave the windows open for a while... |

Re: Deoderizer
Do you have any friends in the auto sales business? They probably have an ozone machine. Or try an auto detailer. Or better yet try a tool rental place.

Re: Deoderizer
That's kind of mean to take your dad to a detailer don't you think? At least he smells like new!

Re: Deoderizer
Funny guys, you can use bags of briquets to absorb the smell, not sure how the steaks will taste if you use them to cook with later.

Re: Deoderizer
So if your steak tastes like feet, you know who to blame.

Re: Deoderizer
I know you said "no febreze" --but that stuff really works well, bc it eats up the enzymes, or something like that...
i dont know if they sell an unscented, but I am sure you could find a "flavor" that you could live with... I had a chrysler minivan that had the rear hatch left open overnight. it rained and i think a cat got in there and sprayed....cause it was seriously smelly even after a shampoo. i used a scent that was some kind of spice.... it was strong , but dissipated pretty quick. the funky smell never returned |

Re: Deoderizer
put coffee grounds in a small paper bag..staple the top closed and throw it under the seat. baking soda in a sock works too, but can get messy if it rolls around too much.

Re: Deoderizer
good one!
you can also put baking soda all over the carpet, rub it in a little, leave it overnight and then vacuum it up. (they sell stuff for that, but it smells like flowers) |
