Need some advice on a rust repair

I completely gutted the interior on my 1991 suburban today, and I'm happy the truck was sold to me as rust free and it's as close as I have ever seen for a 21 year old vehicle.
The only rust is the inner rocker body seam , and the wheel well where the spare tire goes.
The rocker is not an issue I'll cut it out and have a buddy tig in new pieces , but the one in the wheel well is in a seam where two panels overlap.
It's not rotted through but it's definitely coroding , the entire rust area is about 2-3 inches long. Any suggestions on how to deal with this before it goes too far?

its impossible to say without pics both sides as best you can.... they do sell rust inhibitors that you couldtreat the area with but im nopt sure if this is a candidate for this
