Highlander Cheyenne Super possible?

Searched but couldn't find an answer. Anyone know if the Highlander package was an option on Cheyenne Super trucks? Would really like to see pics if so. Thanks, Pete

Re: Highlander Cheyenne Super possible?

As far as I understand the highlander package was only offered as part of the "custom deluxe" package.

I also think it was available on blazers with the CST package.

I don't believe you could have a highlander option on a Cheyenne... never seen one anyway

Re: Highlander Cheyenne Super possible?

Thanks for the follow-up. Guess I'll scrap the idea of orange plaid buckets in my K20. Would look cool though.

. . . .

One of the brochure ads from 1972 says: "Available on Pickups and Suburbans with the Custom Deluxe package, Blazers with CST option"

. . . .

Re: Highlander Cheyenne Super possible?

Pete I have an orange and white K20 Super with black and orange houndstooth in it. I think there are pictures of that combo on the board in other members trucks. If you don't find what you're looking for I'll take some pics and post them. I know you were asking about the Highlander plaid, not orange houndstooth and neither was available in a Super, but both would look good.

Re: Highlander Cheyenne Super possible?

Thanks fellas - Steve's post clears it up. Good to know. I've got a real nice set of parchment houndstooth covers new in bag. Will stick with these. Bill, sounds like our trucks are really similar...see the link to my build when you have time.

Re: Highlander Cheyenne Super possible?

I know,at least with GMCs,the plaid seat could be ordered as an individual option. Too bad it's not a Sierra Grande.

Pete, don't forget houndstooth was not a factory option on bucket seats either But like the Highlander plaid, it looks really good

Doh! Really? I never considered that. Just assumed like bench seats the buckets in a Super were houndstooth.
