I've been and still am babysitting my 4 y/o grandaughter, no time for anything! However it's so hot here, I can wait another day to resume the truck. I did however move my steering gear forwardly 6" or so; )

Hi Denee, I've been wondering where you have been. I don't think I can move my steering box forward quite six inches due to the bumper bracket being in the way, but I thought of moving it when I was having the bump steer problem. I realized it was my mistake and corrected it enought that it's acceptable for now so I have moved on to some body and paint work. I'll get back to the driveability issues later. I'm still leaning toward getting a steering stabilizer and a smaller steering wheel and see if that helps. The reason for the smaller wheel and stabilizer is that the steerig effort is actually too light now. I want to add some more "feel" to the steering.
