Re: Wires,Wires, and MORE WIRES..

Hey Duane!! you out there...today is Friday I got my harnesses yesterday, I finally got the time to compare both harnesses together......and as expected from the posted pics of the engine harness it is the DRIVERS SIDE that has the voltage regulator and the alternator along with the headlights and turn signals, SEE post #147 this harness goes along the front of the truck across the core support. it is not the starting circuit harness which is the side that I really needed(I could tell by the pics you posted) That being said I will keep the harness and use it, as my original harness is jacked up also. Alright! on to new business, Do you have theharness that will feed the starter/distributer and the blower motor, that is the one that runs along the FIREWALL.
let me know please.
no worries!!

Dude crazy!! somewhat laughable though....First off...not trying to argue or butt heads but how is it not the harness which runs across the firewall if the pic in post 147 5th and last pic shows the wire which runs to the pass. fender and the relay block which attaches to it??? I am confused???

Re: Wires,Wires, and MORE WIRES..

trust me I compared my original harness to the one I got from you and it is the charging circuit side with the Alternator and the voltage regulator. In your posted pics you show a closeup of a flat 4 pronged connector THAT is the voltage regulator hookup. I believe that ALL of these trucks had the voltage regulator mounted on the drivers side of the truck on the core support another tell is the pic of the heavy rwed wire with the bonnet on it with a brown and blue wire. THAT is the ALTERNATOR feed.

Re: Wires,Wires, and MORE WIRES..

the relay block you are referring to is, I believe the main power feed to the whole system it is a fuseable link to protect the system.

With tracking numbers never supplied I am assuming I am not getting parts or refund anytime soon. Here a timeline to re-fresh your memory.

5/22 - paid for parts ( $72 )
7/9 - recieved parts - Taillight harness was junk, dome light wire only supposed to be full assembly.
7/10 - Told you would be sending out new parts next day??
7/12 - Ask for update and sent refund amount I requested.
7/20 - No parts or refund
7/23 - Ask again for update
7/23 - Told post office lost shipment ??, but would get new tracking number
7/25 - Ask for tracking number
7/30 - Nothing yet.............

This needs to be wrapped up by Wednesday ( 8/1), no more promises, excuses, or PMs about how great your service and reputation is with other members. After 8/1 I will be contacting the Administrators, bad deal section, Paypal, Oprah, Dr.Phil and the National Enquirer to get this deal far behind me..........

please supply a paypal account and I will be more than happy to refund the whole amount plus 11%. I seriously have not had time to get a money order. Sounds like a bunch of malarkey but it's the truth. You would just have to be more familiar with my situation. Sorry for the hassle, confusion, and frustration I have caused. I will send the dome light free when I find my wiring boxes.

Duane
