Rubber mat for high or low hump

Hello to everyone out there, ok, I got a good question this time. I'm thinking of putting in a new full rubber mat in my 72 Chevy Cheyenne C10. It is a 2 wheel drive and was a column shift until someone put the shift on the floor before I bought it. Do I get a mat for a high hump or low hump. I'm thinking low hump but I'm not sure. George

Re: Rubber mat for high or low hump

If the hump bolts in, it is a high hump. If it is welded in, it is a low hump.

Re: Rubber mat for high or low hump

Thank you for that info. So if the hump is a low hump I should get a mat for a low hump regardless of where the shifter is?
