silverado door panels fubared?

Hey guys, got a question for you . the po had put carpet all over the door panels and i took it off and found the nice silverado trim. im putting it together and im realizing all the hardware and most of the posts and things like that are busted on the silver metal insert and the trim piece.

Any one have any idea how i can attach those two pieces to the plastic? its the next step in putting my interior together and im scratching my head!

If'n you don't ever wanna remove it again, you can use a great adhesive called automotive super goop.

Not to change the subject, but would the goop also work on exterior trim?
