What does this option look like?: 1D89A8 Paint Stripe - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

Hello all,
I have a '71 GMC K1500 Custom Sport LWB. On my glove box sticker is an option:
1D89A8 Paint Stripe
My truck is white with blue interior, do you know what this paint stripe option is? Even better, do you have a photo of your truck with this option?

Heck yeah that helps! Just a regular old pinstripe thing. I wonder if they matched the interior color as a rule. Thanks much 70cst!

Here is another picture for you. They were offered in white or black only as RPO D89 for $13.00.

Thanks Tim! When the time comes to paint my truck, gonna keep it the original white, we'll be adding a black pinstripe. Thanks for the info!
