valve seals????
i have a 402bb and ill be redoing the valve seals this weekend,i have never done this before but ive been studyuing up alot.
ive even studyed the original manual but there are no detailed pics of the seal removel,does anyone have some pics of valve seals and how they come of or even know of a good step by step site. thanks (ya i know...thats why i chose the nickname) |

Welcome to the board from West Michigan!
Once you have the valve spring out of the way, removing the seals is easy. I just use my fingers to pluck them off. If they are stuck, you can use a screw driver. Some seals can be dried up and will fall of in pieces. Good luck! JIm |

Better check your guides too, new seals on a sloppy valve wont accomplish much. If you find to much slack its best to do a (valve job) grind, nurl the guides, new seals.
