scraping my old cab

i'm restoreing a 1980 short bed me and my son and we had to change cabs because of rust a friend had a 86 cab for two hundred. so we scraped the old one. we put it in the bed of my 85 chevy truck

we only got 31 dollar's not much at all it payed for lunch for me and my son then i was broke.

i do not think it's snoopy it's cool. hey i will get pic of the new cab it needs a lot of work too but it's cleaner then the old one

Ya, I was gonna say it looks better than the one I'm fixing up too on my 78....
(welding in new floor pans, supports, etc)

i was lucky a good friend of mine scrap's car's and said he keep a eye out for a cab he call's one night as i was in the middle of dinner. i ran down to look at it i told him yes i will take it. he said but i had to take it off that was cool. if not yes i would have to weld floor's in my old one. i did the rocker's and primer the old cab back in the late 90,s

my dad had a 74 cheyenne when i was a kid we did the bodywork and painted it.black and buff it out. i was in love with that truck his had a 350 auto. he owned my 80 short bed i'm restoring now. you can check it out on my youtube site chevygearheads. do you have pic's of your truck ?
