AC help

I am building a 72 c10--dropping a 350 SB in--it is factory A/C truck but I am going to have to find bracket for compressor..What is my best bet--buy all new parts for current system--since I do want to start of fresh--or get an A/C setup from a later model that will fit or buy a Vintage system and just use my current vents?

Re: AC help

Well if you can find anybody who has these brackets for sale maybe here or in a junk yard and you can buy them it shouldn't be to much. The brackets could easily be cleaned up and with the right preparation painted with a nice durable rattle can primer and paint and they could look new again.

Re: AC help

So you think it is better/cheaper to try and find parts than go with a system like Vintage air?
